Health, Safety & Environment
Our Commitment
At GR Electrical Services, we are fully committed to safeguarding the health, safety, and well-being of all our employees and everyone affected by our operations. Preventing incidents, ill health, and personal injury is an integral part of our business processes.
Occupational health and safety, alongside the effective implementation of our Zero Harm initiatives, is essential to protecting our people and the communities in which we operate. We believe health and safety should never be compromised in pursuit of other objectives.
We actively promote a proactive safety culture, where everyone is encouraged to look out for one another and empowered to speak up if something doesn’t feel or look safe.

Safety is not just a policy—it is a core value that underpins every aspect of our work. Our leadership team is fully committed to ensuring that health, safety, and well-being are prioritised at every level of the organisation.
"We believe that everyone has the right to return home safe and well at the end of each working day.
Safety is not negotiable, it's our shared responsibility." C Houseman (Managing Director)

What We Do
We provide all employees with the necessary information, training, and supervision to perform their duties safely and without risk to health.
Everyone, regardless of role, has a crucial part to play in supporting our Zero Harm strategy. We all share the responsibility for ensuring the safety and welfare of our colleagues, site operatives, and the people within the communities where we work.
By working together, taking ownership, and having the confidence to act when something doesn’t seem right, we are creating a culture of care and accountability.
Environmental Commitment
At GR Electrical Services, we are committed to protecting the environment and minimising the impact of our operations. We comply with all relevant environmental legislation, continually monitor our environmental performance, and promote sustainable practices across our sites and supply chain.
Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
Our policies, procedures, and training are continually reviewed and monitored by our internal Health and Safety Team, alongside our Health and Safety Adviser, Northern Safety Ltd. This ensures we maintain a safe, compliant, and responsive working environment.
