GR Electrical Services are fully committed to safeguarding the health, safety and well-being of all our employees and everyone affected by our operations. The prevention of incidents, ill health and personal injury is an integral part of our business processes.

 

Occupational health and safety and the effective implementation of Zero Harm initiatives are essential to protecting our people and the communities in which we operate.  We believe that health and safety should never be compromised in pursuit of other objectivies. 

We actively promote a proactive safety culture, where everyone is encouraged to look out for one another and empowered to speak up if something doesn't feel or look safe.

Mental Health and Well-being

GR Electrical has a strong emphasis on mental health and well-being, integrating it into our overall safety and work related policies.

We are proud to have a designated Mental Health First Aider, trainied to provide initial support and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health concerns.  Confidential support is always available, and we actively encourage an open, stigma free culture where team members feel safe to speak up and seek help.

Our commitment to well-being includes:

What We Do

We provide all employees with the necessary information, training and supervision to perform their duties safely and without risk to health.

 

Everyone, regardless of job role, has a crucial part to play in supporting our Zero Harm strategy.  We all share the responsibility for ensuring the safety and welfare of our colleagues, site operatives, and the people within the communities where we work.

By working together, taking ownership, and having the confidence to act when something doesn't seem right , we are creating a culture of care and accountability.

Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

Our policies, procedures and training are continually reviewed and monitored by our internal Health and Safety Team, along with our Health and Safety Adviser (Northern Safety Ltd). This ensures that we are doing everything we can to maintain a safe, compliant, and responsive working environment.

​We are also committed to the ongoing improvement of our safety, environmental and quality management system, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in all areas of our operations.
